Final edits are being done on the Royal Palm Social Club newsletter – The Palm Press – and it will go to the printer tomorrow morning. I printed out two draft copies yesterday and gave them to George Immerso and Leslie Nielsen for review. George and Leslie both reviewed the content and Leslie also did an excellent job of proofreading and suggested some valuable changes. As of late this afternoon I have all the copy available and will wrap it up this evening and have Elaine do a fresh review before it goes out. Then on Friday our volunteer team will do two inserts and fold them, then they will be delivered.
Once that goes out I will shift to do a long-overdue newsletter for the Violette Family Association. Not much news, just appealing again for someone to host a reunion in 2017.
We went over to La Mesa RV this morning to pick up our Phaeton, which had been there for a couple of weeks. They had to install a replacement left view camera in the left mirror; the old one had quit working earlier this year. It was good to have it back working again; I missed it while on our tour earlier this year. Now OurHous is back in storage again for a while.
I counted the trip over to Mesa and back as my exercising the engine for this month as well as for charging the batteries. I ran the generator for a while on the way back, to take care of that duty. I do those things regularly every month while the motorhome is in storage.
It looks like an evening of TV tonight, with the first episode of Survivor for the season and the last episode of Big Brother.
