Tomorrow is Marilyn Johnson’s 80th birthday, and this afternoon her nephew George Immerso threw a party for her at the pool. Marilyn spends winters here in Royal Palm and is much loved by all with whom she comes in contact. About 20 or so of us gathered at the pool around 3:00, and we had a great party. Some swam, some sat in the sun, and others sat in the shade. We all enjoyed the gathering and had fun.
There were a lot of foods available, from sandwiches from Schlotzsky’s to fruits and vegetables to chips and dips to stuffed grape leaves to many other choices. Everything I tried was tasty. Elaine made a guacamole dip and I made batches of regular and blue margaritas.
