I finally got around to finishing the project on Elaine’s Copic storage bin. She had bought this to store all her Copic pens but found that they slipped right through if she lifted the grillage that holds the pens upright. My solution was to add a sheet of plastic to the bottom of the grillage so the pens would not drop through and a week or so ago I made my first attempt at doing this. Unfortunately my first attempt did not work because I did not cut the plastic square, despite using a combination square to lay out the cut lines. Our new Bosch dishwasher

We tried our new Bosch dishwasher tonight for the first time. And I can tell you that it is quiet! Except for a few instances you have to put your ear right down next to it to hear it running. It has been a long time since we had a dishwasher – since we had the house on Sweetwater Avenue here in Phoenix and except for when we stayed at my parents’ house in NH. Halloween in the Park. Moon Valley Cafe.

Today was Hallowe’en Parade day. Several of us decorated our golf carts and some others decorated their motorized scooters. We all gathered at noon and headed out driving slowly around the streets of the Park. Many of us made a lot of noise blowing our horns, and Marv had some seasonal music playing on his golf cart. Many residents were out front of their houses to watch the parade go by; Elaine and I as well as a couple of others had bags of candy which we handed out to the watchers.
