More RV stuff out. More shed rearrangement. Pool is still cool.

I spent a couple of hours today getting RV and camping items out of the shed and into the table area where we will be having the yard sale on Friday. The new items included two folding recliner chairs and another folding chair – each in a protective sack. And from another area I got out the long-handled scrubber/squeegees, of which I had two or three. I think we now have all the RV-related items out. Continue reading More RV stuff out. Shelves in use
The shelves are completed in our shed addition and are being put into use.

I started by finishing the shelves in the shed addition, then set up our two folding tables beside the house on the patio. Then, one by one, I brought out the dozen or so plastic tubs we have been storing in the shed and we went through them. Sell, pitch, or keep were the choices. shelving materials
Shelving materials for our shed addition, bought at The Home Depot today. The 2x4s and standards are on top of the seat backs, the shelf brackets on the floor.

I started the next step in our new shed addition – adding the shelving system. I decided to use the ClosetMaid 60-inch twin track standards and the shelf brackets to match. I attached 2x4s on the back wall, which was the outside wall of the original shed, and attached standards to them. On the front wall I simply attached the standards to the 2x3s Marv had used to frame the addition. I will only have deep shelving in two of the three bays and will leave the other bay available for taller items. Tomorrow I will get the shelving material and finish the job. Office cleanup. Newsletter ad work. Kentners back. Shed addition.

As usual, after the newsletter goes out I have to do a major desk cleanup and that was my morning task. Stuff I am using for the newsletter accumulates and I am so busy that other items get set aside and not handled right away. But with a few hours’ work I can get things filed, pitched, and organized as appropriate – ready for the onslaught of the next issue. Continue reading Office cleanup. Newsletter ad work.
